As a Cacao Facilitator you get to help that awakening to happen.

As you offer this powerful but gentle medicine, you receive the honour of watching hearts melt open before your eyes, and see an awakening of self love, compassion and joy that may have been forgotten for decades.

You get to watch nervous systems unwind and release years of held tension and trauma in a gentle and beautiful way.

You get to see hope, relaxation and ease; deep sighs of relief and big smiles of remembrance and insight.

You get to watch magic awaken.

In holding space for that, you are facilitating the raising of consciousness not just of those in the room, but of the collective as well.

And that is a great service to humanity!

This Immersive Cacao Facilitator Training will give you all the knowledge, the tools, and most importantly the experience, to confidently speak about Cacao and hold yourself and others in deeply transformational sacred space.

With 8 ceremonies as the most important part of your training, you will be sharing Cacao with others from a place of experience and integrity: from the Heart rather than from the Mind.

I believe that in order to guide others you need to experience the healing and transformation yourself, so this course will be as focused on your own inner journey as it will be about learning the information about the background, lineage and science of Cacao.

You will learn to guide people through the deeper aspects of working with the messages coming from the medicine; how those messages show up through the body, energy, emotions and mind, and techniques to help people through anything that shows up in a safe and gentle manor.

Cacao calls herself ‘The Food For The Shift’.

This shift is coming from dropping out of the mind and into the heart; an expansion of awareness; a softening into life as it is, and a moving into partnership with life as a journey of awakening.

This shift is teaching us to live more from connection and love than from division and fear.

Cacao is helping facilitate a big shift in the collective right now, with more and more people bringing Cacao into their daily lives and receiving so much from that relationship. She is helping people all over the world to remember that magic exists, both in the world and in their own heart.

There is an ancient Mayan myth that says:

“When the balance between humans and nature becomes threatened, cacao comes from the rain-forest to open people's hearts and return the planet to harmony.”

This is her chosen role, and in order to fulfill that role she needs heart-centred people holding conscious and sacred spaces for her to work her magic. In stepping into working with Cacao, you are also taking on this role, and becoming part of this beautiful worldwide shift.

Facilitating Cacao offerings is such a beautiful way to help people connect on a deep level to their inner world.

During this immersive course you will be developing your own relationship with Cacao, and finding your unique expression of how she wants to move through you into the world. You will learn all about creating a safe space and how to hold people in both their expansion and contraction.

Why 4 months?

Because you need time to cook.

These days we are looking for a quick fix, a quick certificate so we can move on and start holding space. But that’s not how sacred space works. This work is a lot more than informational, it needs to be EXPERIENTIAL. You need time to experience how Cacao shows up in you and in others. You need time to learn to navigate and recognise the messages coming through.

YOU NEED TIME TO PRACTICE YOUR CRAFT!

While information about Cacao is important to know if you are holding space with her, and will be covered in depth in this course; the real knowing comes through experience and time in ceremony, meeting yourself and doing your own work with her.

A short informational course is not enough for you to know how to support someone through a shift, which is what this work is really about.

Your Cacao Guide

Paula Gibson

This course is designed and written by Paula Gibson based on her 11 years of experience of working with closely with Cacao and Keith Wilson. She has been sitting with Cacao personally for 11 years, holding ceremony for 6, and teaching others to hold ceremony for 2 years. She spent 3 years in Guatemala apprenticing with Keith Wilson, who she continues to learn from to this day.

Paula is a heart-centred and empathic healer who guides people to greater levels of acceptance and self love with the help of Cacao as a heart opening medicine. She holds a safe and compassionate container of transformation where all is welcome, and helps people to let go of limitations and self defeating beliefs, bringing them back to a centred and expanded space. She has been sharing Cacao in Ireland and internationally since 2015, through ceremony, dance, yoga, retreats and 1:1 healing sessions and mentorships. She was one of the first to offer this medicine in Ireland, was the first Keith’s Cacao practitioner in Ireland, and is proud Cacao mama (and grandmama) to many of those now sharing Cacao here.

Paula’s journey with Cacao began in 2011 while travelling in Guatemala, where she met Keith Wilson (aka The Chocolate Shaman). Year after year she found herself back in San Marcos la Laguna for longer and longer periods each time (3 years in total), diving deeper into the world of Cacao, attending 2-3 ceremonies a week (each up to 7 hours long), and ultimately spending a year working for Keith and his partner Barbara as their assistant and ‘cacao fairy’.

Her Cacao training came from Keith, but she is also a qualified yoga and meditation teacher (800+hrs), Mind Detox practitioner, PSYCH-K® facilitator and reiki master, and brings elements of these into her ceremonies also.

Her passion lies in heart-focused inner work and facilitating deep transformation with the help of Cacao to accelerate awakening. A lot of her work is focused on Self-love and acceptance, and uncovering the lessons life is bringing through apparent ‘problems’ and physical symptoms.

What kind of ceremony will I learn to offer?

How you facilitate your Cacao Offerings is unique to you. Cacao is a partner that will help you go deeper into whatever it is you choose to partner her with. She is here to help you to connect to and offer the unique medicine YOU hold. This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to develop and share your own unique Cacao Offerings, either in group or individual sessions. We will have plenty of time for you to explore how the medicine wants to move through you into the world.
