An online Cacao Ceremony is a space for you to bring your whole self, and see, honour and love the parts of yourself that are most calling for your attention. As you journey beyond the realms of everyday consciousness, you can connect with those parts of you that hold the key to your next level of expansion and healing. Cacao can help you step more fully into heart consciousness, while also guiding you through those parts that aren’t quite there yet.
Paula will guide you with meditations and tools to meet those parts of inner world that are ready to be seen.
What is Cacao?
Before there was ever chocolate there was ceremonial Cacao! Cacao has been around for over 5000 years, opening hearts and minds and allowing people to access the deeper levels of their being so they may heal and evolve into heart centred beings. Cacao is a plant medicine that will help to show you how to expand into your greatest expression of YOU.
We can engage Cacao on a number different levels. Your journey may begin by engaging her for health and wellbeing, for her physical heart healing and mind and mood expansion. And once you have felt the benefits, you may be guided a level deeper to engage her as a partner to enhance your practices of yoga, breathwork etc., experiencing how she can help you connect on a much deeper level and receive even more benefits from these practices. And then, you may be guided a level even deeper, to engage her as a consciousness, teacher and guide. Here you come into conversation with her and your inner world and follow the messages she is bringing your for your transformation. This is the level we will drop into in this ceremony.
What is a Cacao Ceremony?
A cacao ceremony is a space for you to step out of the business of daily life and be held in a container of transformation and nurturing. With the help of Cacao and guidance from Paula, you will meet the parts of yourself that are ready to be seen, loved, accepted and opened to.
In this ceremony, your inner journey will be the focus. You will have the space, time and guidance to engage Cacao on a deeper level than you have before, and fully experience her healing potential. By turning to her as a medicine and a partner in our evolution, you can receive deep healing and messages about where you are in life and how to step forward towards a more expanded version of yourself.
Cacao’s mission is to help open your heart. Whatever is in the way of your living with an open heart may come up in ceremony, but in a gentle and loving way that is kind to the system. As my teacher says “she will show you the door but won’t push you through it” meaning she is a gentle plant medicine and the messages come with that same gentleness and kindness. But if you are in the space to go there, very deep and meaningful shifts can happen by meeting Cacao in this way.
We will gather in sacred space, set intention and journey with Cacao for 2 hours, supported by guidance from Paula, who will offer energy work, guided meditations and drumming, as well as deeper support and individual work where needed. Whatever may arise within the space, is so welcome, and Paula will be assisting you in moving through whatever the message may be. Some of the topics we may cover include:

This ceremony is open to all genders and levels of experience.
Paula has been journeying with Cacao in this way for 10 years, sharing it for 6 and teaching others to share it for 2. She spent 3 years attending ceremony for up up 15hrs a week with Keith Wilson in Guatemala, which is where the resurgence of Cacao began. She was the first Keith’s Cacao practitioner in Ireland and is now proud cacao mama and grandmama to hundreds if not thousands of Cacao lovers in Ireland and beyond.
Note: Cacao can have some interactions for those taking psychoactive medications, with a heart condition, and pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is still safe for all, but a lower dose may be needed, so please let me know if any of those apply to you
